Do I need my model number to get a quote?
It helps but is not required. The data plate (inside the cabinet or on the door edge) gives us the exact OEM profile; a photo of the unit and gasket usually gets us there too. Worst case, we measure and match the profile on site.
How often should commercial refrigerator gaskets be replaced?
When they are damaged, not on a calendar. In a busy kitchen that is often every couple of years per door. Replace a gasket as soon as it tears, hardens or stops gripping; waiting costs more in energy and product than the seal costs.
How do I make my gaskets last longer?
Wipe them weekly with warm soapy water, not bleach or caustic degreasers, which harden the rubber. Keep the folds dry, and stop closing doors on cords and towels. When a gasket does fail, replace it before mold sets into the frame.
Can you replace gaskets on both my True cooler and my Traulsen freezer in one visit?
