How we build a gasket without a part number
- We start from your old seal. A short cross-section of the existing gasket tells us the extrusion profile: the shape that has to grip the channel and meet the frame.
- We measure the door on site: exact dimensions, corner style and mounting type, because old doors are rarely square and never standard.
- We match the profile from fabrication stock, or the closest functional profile when the original shape is truly extinct, in food-safe material.
- We build the gasket to size, fit it to the door, and test the seal the same way we would a factory part.

Can you match any gasket profile?
Nearly all. Most "unavailable" gaskets use profiles that are still extruded or have a functional equivalent. In the rare case where nothing fits, we adapt the channel or recommend the closest workable solution before charging you anything.
Is a custom gasket much more expensive?
It costs more than a stock snap-in seal because of the fabrication step, but far less than replacing the unit, which is the real alternative. Your quote shows the exact number up front.
